Life Skills & Independent Living

Skill-building activities centered on self-worth, community strength, and personal growth.  Focus on all youth participants.  Group or individual sessions are weekly, delivered in a supportive environment.

Educational Support

Academic guidance, tutoring, and advocacy to support youths’ educational journey.  Targeting youth facing academic challenges.  Meeting weekly, fostering hope and respect for individual goals.

Behavioral Health Counseling

Trauma-informed mental health and substance abuse services delivered with compassion and integrity.  Weekly sessions, as needed, with culturally sensitive approaches.

Co-Parenting Class

This course equips parents and caregivers with trauma-informed tools to navigate separation, strengthen co-parenting, support their children’s emotional adjustment, and develop safe, developmentally-appropriate parenting plans in alignment with the Nebraska Parenting Act.

Active Parenting (0-5 Age)

The Active Parenting First Five Years Program empowers parents and caregivers to build strong, healthy relationships with their children during the most formative years of life. This program helps understand early childhood development and learn practical, positive strategies to guide behavior, prevent problems, and prepare their child for lifelong learning.

Active Parenting (6-12 Age)

The course focuses on understanding developmental needs, preventing power struggles, encouraging responsibility, building emotional regulation skills, and supporting academic and social success. Parents learn practical tools to set clear expectations, create effective routines, and respond to challenges in ways that promote confidence and cooperation.

Courage to Change: Domestic Violence for Aggressors

 These programs are designed for individuals who have engaged in abusive behavior. The goal is to help them understand the dynamics of domestic violence, challenge their belief systems, develop non-violent conflict resolution skills, and take responsibility for their actions.

Support + Education for Survivors

These classes or groups provide education, support, and resources for individuals who have experienced domestic violence. They focus on topics such as safety planning, understanding abuse dynamics, building self-esteem, developing healthy relationships, and accessing legal and social services.

Juvenile Anger Management

This course helps youth understand and manage anger in healthy ways. Participants learn to recognize triggers, practice coping skills, and build communication and decision-making strategies that promote self-control and accountability.

Adult Anger Management

This program equips participants with the knowledge and tools needed to recognize triggers, regulate emotional and physical responses, and prevent anger from escalating into harmful or destructive behavior.
